Most people who buy at Lakehaven aren't buying a lot. They're buying evenings on the deck with the lake in front of them, a walk to the river with the dog, and a house designed around the view instead of the neighbor's fence.
Lakehaven is built around its lakes. The lots on Lakehaven Lane sit closest to the water; the Chateau Place lots look across the open common ground toward it; and the whole community backs onto the Boise River corridor, with the trees and wildlife that come with it.
Lakehaven isn't one kind of lot. The Chateau Place homesites are about a third of an acre — enough for a serious house and a real yard without a weekend of mowing. The Lakehaven Lane lots run a half acre to 1.3 acres. And a few estate parcels of two to nearly nine acres give you room for a shop, a barn, a pool house, or simply nobody close.
The tradeoff most people fear with a quiet community is isolation. Lakehaven sits on the south side of Star, a few minutes from State Highway 44 and Star's Main Street — groceries, coffee, schools and the river park are a normal drive, not an expedition. Eagle and Meridian are the next towns over, and Boise is a straight shot east on 44.

It depends on the lot and on where you put the house. The Lakehaven Lane lots are the closest; several Chateau Place lots look across the common ground to the lakes. The best way to know is to stand on the lot — call us and we'll walk it with you and the plat.
